How about working with challenging tasks in a respectful and friendly working environment? On behalf of our partner, one of the biggest importer and distributor of automotive spare parts in Middle and East Europe, we are looking for Area Sales Manager for North Greece.
The ideal candidate needs to have solid experience in the Spare parts, Oil and Liquids industry, be detail oriented and with extended communication and persuasion Skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Be responsible for the complete business development and sales process of local branches (including the multilevel and multi-layer research of the existing markets to the development of the sales objects that match the demands of the designated area coupled with the target to build strong customer relationships at all levels which will result to successfully sales contracts
• Analyze the local automotive market in terms of spare parts, tools materials and liquids
• Supports the local branches in terms of solutions and strategies
• Manage and achieve parts sales target according to plan
• Develop sales volumes in the designated area
• Visit all the assigned workshop customers’ especially large and key accounts on daily basis
• Train the local branches personnel in the proper ways of selling. Follow up on technical and soft skills issues
• Act as a sales trainer for the local shops
• Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions
• Suggesting additional related parts to improve sales
• Promote the company, develop partnerships, and generates new business
• Identify problems, remove obstacles and assess opportunities that will ensure an organic growth of the business
• Put specific emphasis in creating new business opportunities
• Provide technical “know-how” and application support to shop associates and their sales team; support them in their pricing decisions as well as the marketing initiatives
• Communicate selling prices and category management initiatives for standard and special spare parts, tools, equipment for all automotive categories and products
• Provide technical application experience and regard to product selection (existing and new products)
• Assist the sales Director, Customer Service and Project team with responsibility for all liaisons with customer and various Company departments involved with strategic accounts
• Work closely with Marketing to identify special products which may require forecasting to support customer requirements
• Work closely with agreement personnel to add repetitive purchases to price book, to streamline quotation and order launch process

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration Marketing or Engineering will be an asset
• Proven working experience as an after-sales engineer who has developed into sales is a must
• 3+ years of Customer Service experience is required

COMPETENCES AND SKILLS:
• Ability to interface with support groups on difficult problems and successfully enlist their support
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Experience with ERP systems especially Microsoft Navision is a plus.
• Exposure in Business analytics and Marketing policies
• Strong People management skills, especially around development and training
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team building orientation
